Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority
CHRHA's Maintenance and Modernization Program


     The Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority Maintenance Department is responsible for managing all maintenance functions in the most timely and cost effective manner, while providing the best service to the residents of 326 Public Housing units.

      These services include plumbing, electrical, heating, etc. We do this as a team effort starting with the manager, mechanics, aides, and independent contractors. We have a team that efficiently maintains the occupied and vacant units and handles "on call" service calls for nights, weekends and holidays in a timely manner.




      The Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority is staffed with qualified professionals, led by Sam Imperial, Facilities Director. And safety is a very important aspect to our team. All areas of safety, OSHA and HUD regulations, are observed with great detail by our team.

      It is the policy of the Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority to provide a work environment that is accident free. It is CHRHA policy to instruct and train staff that safety is a state of mind and it is up to the staff to take control of accidents and risks. Staff members are encouraged to actively support the CHRHA safety policy that will integrate safety engineering principles and accident prevention techniques in all work assignments.
    CHRHA staff is encouraged to:
  • report unsafe conditions for staff members as well as for clients and residents.
  • ensure all staff members are trained in job responsibility and safety.
  • ensure immediate and corrective action is take whenever an unsafe condition is identified.
  • set a safety example to other staff members as well as clients and residents.

      The Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority has created a safe work style that provides safe conditions for staff, clients, and residents by removing hazardous conditions.
